handmade hand drill

I needed a hand drill and the closest craft supply store is almost an hour away (one way) and in another state. So I made one.


I took a drill bit in the size that I needed. Using a dremel with a diamond bit I ground down the shank on two sides just until it was flattened a little. Then I made a handle with scrap polymer clay. After baking I pulled out the drill bit and glued it back in permanently with Loctite glue.
It works perfectly.
