Sutton Slice tiles

I am working on a keepsake box that will be a gift to my mother-in-law. I stained the box in Cherry and the top will be covered in tiles that are made of polymer clay. I am using the Sutton Slice technique. I wanted it to be colorful and have texture.

I really like this technique.

  5. BEAUTIFUL! I've never tried the technique. Do you coat the stamp with a release agent first?

  6. Bonnie, the first time I tried it I used water for a release agent. Now I use ArmorAll. It seems to work better for me with these clear polymer stamps.
