I thought I had decided on a project to make for a challenge. Then I sat down and just played. Ending up with something completely different than my original idea.
No molds were used for these. If I get a chance I may go back to my original idea for a small sculpture but I like how these turned out.
Yesterday I was walking down a craft aisle in a store and broke down crying because I saw a potters wheel. My sister passed away unexpectedly in May of this year, she was only 44 years old. She loved working with clay and was quite gifted even though she didn't think so. She always wanted to take a class on throwing clay on a wheel. She never found the time to do it.
Life is short. Please take the time to take the class, go on the trip, live your life to the fullest and enjoy it while you can.
