Crafty snail

I normally make everything for my snails with the exception of the shell which is real. I did not make the "fabric" pieces on this one.  This cane was made by the very talented Meg Newberg. I have quite a few of her canes which I plan to use with various snails. She does fabulous work! Just click her name to visit her etsy shop.

It must be really hard to get knitting done while running after a bunch of kids. This little lady seems to make it look effortless.

The Singer

This afternoon a sweet voice could be heard singing deep in the forest of ColtPixy. I followed the sound until I spied a stage and there was the source in front of a tiny microphone.

Cowboy Snail

I'm back! The past few days have been filled with prepping and sculpting. It feels really good to get back to the clay. I have several requests and a trade to get through. Here is the first completed snail, a cowboy with a red hat. My husband is doing better every day. He will not be allowed to go back to work until mid-September. It is going to be strange around here when he does. It has been kind of nice being able to spend time together.
